Great day at the Garage...Rooster crew making there way over to the west side is much appreciated...DEA,SSC,Crumpet,SkyScraper and newbie ACE, great jobs by all...Then to the new regulars, Hollywood,Speedy,"Monaa",Enrique,CoCo,Eddie,Richard,Amy, Alex and the newest edition Damian, you all did incredible...Some finishing up in a torrential downpour...Nice Wodding by all...Zooks, pleasure to have you at my noon time class...Comes in, warms himself up, sets his weights up, blows through his own CrossFit Football WOD in 12 minutes, runs miles with 20# weighted vest on,does push-ups w/vest,cleans up, says thanks, and gone, the same way he runs, SMOOTH AS SILK....Till Friday, a good night to all....TURBO

Hello. My name is Ninja and I am a Crossfit junkie. The problem has progressed to the point of scheduling work and family around my workout. (hooya) I seriously need to take a day off this week but my trainers continue to tempt me with irresistable Wods. ( I still love 'em) Friday looks tooo good to pass up.
Step 1. hibernate tonight
Step 2. crawl to TC
Step 3. always do better than my best, and enjoy ....The rest of the steps are recover, rest, recover, rest, recover, rest.

Okay okay KGB.. Yes I was sneaky this morning however it blew up in my face and you did prevail. Turns out SSC and I had a little miscommunication. She thought I said 3 when I really said 2...soooooo that 6th round at 105 didn't count. It was still fun watching you get pissy haha :) Question?? Why do you only come to roosters when its a lift day hmmmmm??? Anyway I hope everyone has a great weekend and YES KGB YOU DID BEAT ME :)

I sacrificed form for weight on the last two rounds today and they should not count...The 110# on the white board should be 90# or 95# (I don't remember the last couple of wt. increases)

The Garage looks amazing. NRG, you look frickin great, I haven't seen you in a while. Good job to new girl Joely; aren't you glad we pushed you? :-)
I would have been glad to max out at 50#, but I got up to 58# which is awesome, I'm psyched about that. Push pressing was my bitch on this WOD.
And I'm kicking myself in the ass, I need to get back on point with this diet, I haven't been 100% on track and I saw it today in my percentage.. only 1.7% down from last month's 5%. Some drop is good, and I'm glad for that, but it's not what I know I can achieve. This month will be MUCH better!
Turbo got some good pics with NRG's camera, can't wait to see them.

Hey DEA, you little sneakoid! Next time let me know you gonna put extra 5 lbs on, I like fair challenge. Anyway, to answer your question: I would have come today to roosters no matter what, even if it was 5K day. I happen to work as a rented mule and have no control over my workout times most of the time. I do however have to say that I enjoy roosters the most. You guys are riot!!! Does anyone else have their neck vertebrae swollen? Not only do I have a man traps (as would SSC say), but today I added a huge bump to my neck, that pretty much makes me a hunchback of Notredam.

Hey K2 I guess we lifted almost the same weight. Couldn't finish my last round with 90Lbs, so I have to settle for 85lbs this time. Next time I start with 90lbs and finish with 65lbs. I think that will work better for me. KGB and DEA if you could just drink as much as you can lift you would be rocking. I don't know how you got that weight up so many times. Good work. And for sister SSC we are repeating this bear thing in a few months. Her weight was an embarrassment. I don't know how she got away with that.

Lance,thank you for my happy hour Painstorm! I was totally craving a wod like this tonight and this was 20 times better than Annie would have been!! You were right there with me and that is why I love coming back!!Next time I won't goof off with the water bottle and will be under the 25 mark for sure!Turbo,the gym looks great- but with all those beef cakes in there, you need to get in some large tee shirts for the boys!!lol. i got all rundown by the bear today. i had the pleasure of being mauled at noon in the garage with rocky and turbo. I walked away with a pr, but i wish i would have gone one more round.
After I pr I start to get all tired, shakey, and i just want to cuddle and drift off to sleep.

Got myself a PR or 2 on "bear" tonight. 50# on push press and front squat. Not too shabby! I have been working on form (esp. with squats) so I haven't been going too high on weight. Looks like I am on the road to good form and the ability to increase weight! See you all tomorrow for the Pain Storm!
